Calm Healthy Horses specialises in one thing: grass affected horses. Founded by Jenny — a horsemanship instructor who taught across New Zealand for fifteen years — this brand was built on a genuine discovery. Jenny was the first to recognise and coin the term "Grass Affected" over a decade ago, after noticing that many problem horses improved dramatically with nothing more than a change in diet.

The science behind it is compelling. Modern domestic horses are often confined to small blocks of fertilised rye and clover — a far cry from the varied, unfertilised roughage, herbs, and mineral-rich deep-rooted plants that horses in the wild consume. This nutritional gap is at the root of a wide range of behavioural and physical issues: spookiness, aggression, head-shyness, girthiness, lead-swapping, and more.
