Premium Calf Milk Replacer

A good curding and highly digestible calf milk replacer that has been formulated to meet young calves nutritional requirements from 4 days of age.

A blend of New Zealand sourced natural casein milk powders (whole milk, skim milk and butter milk) fortified with vitamins and minerals, including a free flow agent and a Coccidiostat which aids in the prevention of Coccidiosis.

Does not contain whey powder.

NOTES:

Store powder airtight in a cool dry place away from light

Cleanliness and hygiene of mixing and feeding equipment is vital to good calf health

Mix powder prior to feeding, not the night before as settling may occur

Eliminate stress by providing adequate shelter and a fresh clean water supply

Provide good quality hay and meal from 10 days of age to encourage rumen development

TWICE A DAY GUIDELINES:

Typically fed in the morning and evening with an 8 hour elapse between feeds

 Mix 125g of CMR per litre of warm water (37°C)

 One 20kg bag of CMR makes 180 litres of milk

0 – 4  days Colostrum fed ad-lib

5 – 10 days 2.0 litres twice a day

11 – 21 days 2.5 litres twice a day

22 days + 3.0 litres twice a day

ONCE A DAY GUIDELINES:

Age/Volume

0 – 4 days old Colostrum fed ad-lib

5 – 10 days old 200g in 1.0 litre twice a day

11 – 21 days old 500g in 2.5 litres once a day

22 days + 600g in 3.0 litres once a day
