Green vegetables such as lettuce, spinach, beet, kale, pumpkin, broccoli, carrots can be enjoyed by chickens. Even a desert of blueberries and strawberries or melon will be enjoyed.

Most free range birds will consume enough feed to sustain themselves and should generally stop at enough.

If overfed you may find any leftovers will begin to attract vermin to the coop.
